Successful re-certification for the compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standarts.

On January 18, 2022, Astra Logistic Ltd has successfully re-confirmed the international certificate ISO 9001:2015.

The profound annual inspection of the company's quality management system was carried out by the international auditing company Bureau Veritas Latvia.

According to the results, the auditors gave the positive assessment to the quality management system of the company Astra Logistic Ltd. and accented its efficiency.

Successful completion of the supervisory audit for compliance of the quality system with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

On February 25, 2021, Astra Logistic Ltd. has successfully passed the supervisory audit for compliance of the quality system with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Audit of the quality management system of Astra Logistic Ltd. was carried out by the experienced specialists of the international company Bureau Veritas, who have been working for many years in the field of evaluating the quality control system of business processes management.

According to the results, the auditors gave positive assessment and noted the high efficiency of the system.

OBTAINING A LICENSE FOR WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION OF MEDICINAL PRODUCTS FOR HUMAN USE.

On April 18, 2018, SIA Astra Logistic Ltd. received authorisation No R00051 for wholesale distribution of medicinal products for human use, including narcotic and psychotropic medicinal products, medicinal products derived from human blood and plasma, immunological medicinal products and cold chain products.

Meeting of the governmentalegation of Turkmenistan

The management of our company was present at a meeting of the governmental delegation of Turkmenistan with the Latvian business delegation, held on 21.11.2016 in the premises of the Ministry of Economics of Latvia. At the meeting issues of economic cooperation of both countries were discussed.

Participation in CPhI Worldwide exhibition

Representative of "Astra Logistic Ltd." have participated in the international CPhI Worldwide exhibition which was held in Madrid, Spain, from October 13 to October 15, 2015. Representatives from more than 150 countries participated in this exhibition. CPhI Worldwide has been carried out together with ICSE, InnoPack and P-MEC. Audit of the company according to new ISO 2015 standard

On January 28, 2016 Bureau Veritas has conducted audit of "Astra Logistic Ltd." according to new standard 2015, according which in Latvia at the moment only 3 companies are audited. Positive audit report about compliance of all processes at the company to the above-stated standard has been received.

22nd of November, 2014 – Meeting of representatives of the working group of the Latvian-Turkmen commission of intergovernmental cooperation on economic, production, scientific and technical cooperation

Employees of the company have visited the meeting of representatives of the working group of the Latvian-Turkmen commission of intergovernmental cooperation on economic, production, scientific and technical cooperation. During a working meeting the directions of possible cooperation between Latvia and Turkmenistan were discussed. During the negotiations, the heads of our two states discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations and examined the major dimensions of cooperation in political, financial and economic, cultural and humanitarian areas. It was stressed that Uzbekistan and Latvia are important reliable partners for one another and that the two nations maintain enduring, traditionally robust, close and friendly ties instrumental for prolific interaction.
During the talks, the two parties covered interaction issues in combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and in search for meaningful answers to other contemporary threats and challenges. The two parties underlined the similarity and closeness of their perspectives and stances on all the issues under discussion.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Latvia concentrated their attention on issues of trade-economic, investment and humanitarian cooperation. Latvia is one of Uzbekistan’s chief trade partners in the European Union. Investment cooperation has been expanding, as well. To date, 22 enterprises with Latvian investments are operating in Uzbekistan, while more than 40 entities have been opened in Latvia with the involvement of Uzbek companies.
As it was underscored, Uzbekistan and Latvia wield a remarkable potential in the economic sphere. The two sides addressed issues related to the even more effective use of the capacities of our two countries. Also stressed was the significance of bolstering bilateral interaction in such an important sector as transport and communications.
A business forum took place in Riga as part of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan. It served as a platform to discuss opportunities for joint business in Latvia and Uzbekistan, new aspects of cooperation, development of logistics industry in Latvia in the interests of Uzbekistan.

First international Forum “Thermo labile medicines and products – appropriate practices today and tomorrow”

First international Forum “Thermo labile medicines and products – appropriate practices today and tomorrow”, which was organized by non-commercial Partnership “Cold chains and biotechnologies”, took place in Moscow on the 17th and 18th of September, 2013. More than 100 representatives of Russian and foreign pharma producers, drugstore nets, associations of pharma producers, suppliers of equipment and services for pharma, and representatives of health officials participated in the Forum. The first day of the Forum was devoted to issues of appropriate practices in handling thermo labile medicines and products. 20.12.2010. On the 19th to 21. May, 2010, in St. Petersburg, Russia, was held Adam Smith's 16th “Russian Pharmaceutical Forum”, attended by more than 500 participants from Russian and foreign pharmaceutical companies , distributors, pharmacy chains, medical equipment suppliers and service providers.
